Oahu is "The Gathering Place". Although not the largest of the Hawaiian islands, it is the most populated. Oahu is also the location of the state capitol and largest city in Hawaii, Honolulu. Most visitors to Hawaii spend at least part of their trip on the island of Oahu. Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head and the North Shore are all on Oahu and are some of the most visited places in the state.
